I own a VR arcade business with 2 physical locations so far, still working on the exponential bit lol but the pieces are coming together. Parties, multiplayer gaming, or just drop in to play VR. Plus some other services and sales that we offer. Coming up to our 8th year now.
- Our MTP: Drive mainstream adoption of Virtual Reality tech. Make location based VR entertainment as common as movie theatres or bowling alleys.
- Dashboards & Interfaces: Realtime analytics to track everything from bookings, player sign-ins, sales and much more. Comprehensive arcade management platform tailored to our business.
- AI & Autonomy: Utilizing AI to help write scripts to automate backend processes and routine tasks. Write content for our website and game library. Automated social media posting. Custom chatbot loaded with our business plan and tons of business data & documents, accessible by the whole team via our Discord server.
- Engagement: Loyalty points and gamification for customers, staff rewards programs to encourage upselling
- Experimentation: Mining crypto during off-hours. DIY hardware repairs and 3D printing. Testing out unique pricing models e.g lifetime memberships with free monthly game time.
A lot of challenges particularly with being a brick & mortar business. But a lot of fun and untapped opportunity too! We recently relocated one of our locations to a bigger space and working on mixing in some retro arcade machine + LAN cafe type offerings along with expanding capacity for more VR players.
