Why We're Here:
Previously, we tried "Circles," a forum-like feature on our old platform. It didn't work out due to a clunky interface, low participation and technical challenges, so we moved on.
We also historically have used WhatsApp groups. They were fine when we were smaller, but they quickly became fragmented and exclusive, making it tough for everyone to join and participate, among other issues with the format.
The Discord Experiment:
We gave Discord a shot for real-time chats, but let's be honest—it didn’t click for our community of busy professionals and global members. Keeping up with the fast-paced chat was tricky, we lacked proper linking of users to ExO Pass, ongoing security concerns with fake accounts joining, and other problems. So, we're moving on. Maybe a future revival of this or something similar later on when appropriate.
The Return to Forums:
Now, we're back to basics with a classic forum format. It’s the right fit for fostering genuine discussions, sharing updates, and gathering feedback. This is about building a strong community to support each other's exponential journeys. We’re stronger together!
Who Can Participate:
Read all you want, but posting is for those with a Basic, Premium, or Pro ExO Pass. This approach helps maintain high-quality discussions and keeps spam, bots and trolls at bay.
